Submission Guidelines

SUBMISSION DATE:  Inquire

STILL MEDIA

• Still Media:       We prefer for your stills to be scanned and converted to "JPG" or "TIFF" graphic format.  Scanning at 220 DPI is sufficient.
• Image Naming:    We would like each picture named  after you club--"Jarrettsville" or "Timonium". That is, use your club name as the first part of the name and followed by a sequential number.
• If you want text to appear on the still image, pick your words well & keep it short.  Associate the Image file name with the text in a separate text or MS Word file.
• If you do not have someone in your organization who can do the scanning, I can handle:  printed pictures    35 mm slides    digital Camera images
• Number of Pictures: 35 pictures should be enough to tell several stories! Please use your club's logo in your first image! Each picture will be spaced about five seconds apart. Your portion will execute about 3 1/2 minutes.
• Put everything onto a CD and mail the disc to me.  Don't forget to label the disc!

DIGITAL CAMERA            For advanced users:  You may not know, but normal camera setting creates pictures with extremely large file sizes (20 meg's +).  Large file size is great for printing but is a potential disaster for web based photos and slide show. The problem that Webs and TVs have low resolution (72 dpi) and can not  "use" to its advantage large size. So, we have to slim down using Photoshop to 350,000 kB; and reset the width of your picture to 200 pixels across [but please maintain the aspect ration.

VIDEO MEDIA

• Video Media    If you would like to film your club's tribute, go ahead.  We can digitize any video format (see www.printergy.com for details).
• Length:      Please keep your video short.  Film will be edited down to 4 minutes.

BOTH VIDEO & PICTURES?

   Well, OK.  If you have some one in your organization who can mix it together, why not.  Call me for details. Max time does not change!

FINAL PRODUCTION

• We plan to place instrumental music behind the pictures.  If your video has audio, we may leave your audio as you present it.  
• This product will play in most DVD players. (Not all DVD players play DVD+R media).
• The finished product will not be in a specific order.
• Printergy will organize the final presentation.
• Upon request, each club will be given a copy of the final product.

Return of Property

• Please do not send me irreplaceable pictures.  Even the most organized have their Murphy Moments!
• Assets submitted can be picked up at Printergy after the EVENT!. 
• We are open 10-6 M/F.

District Governor's Presentation:    The video will be shown at the Marriott Hunt Valley.  We plan to use a large screen LCD TV powered by a DVD player.

                                                                                        I will see you at the Marriott!  (Plus a 20 foot extension cord).
